I can't thank Dr. Vaze enough for the way he has changed my life. I came to him with depression, along with other mental health issues, and had already tried several medication combinations with no success. Dr. Vaze was very approachable and kind and took my treatment step by step until we found a combination that worked. He was diligent in following up with me, and never hesitated to reach out to other resources to help me cope whenever an issue was outside of his scope of treatment. He fosters a global approach to treatment, involving lifestyle changes, medication, occupational therapy, therapy, and other supports - all as needed on an individual basis. Not once in 3 years did I ever feel dismissed or unheard. I recommend Dr. Vaze to anyone that is struggling with mood and anxiety disorders or adhd, particularly if the right treatment has been difficult to pin down. Thank you, Dr. Vaze for everything you've done to help me find myself again and live a full life, despite my diagnoses. I wish you the best as you move on to your next chapter. Never forget how much you change lives every day, doing what you do.

Without Dr. Vaze care, I know that I would not be here. His demeanor, knowledge and personal attributes are an excellent example of what one would expect from a doctor/ physician. I will miss our sessions. I will miss your friendship. John B.

He was a great doctor that took great care of me and my family during our most difficult times. He was very knowledgeable in his field and was able to make fact based predictions and suggestions about my OCD and medications. He was my third psychiatrist and he was by far the best. If I had to give him constructive suggestions it would be to see his severe patients a little more frequently and I know this may not be his fault, however, it would be nice if he could be on time more often.

Dr. Vaze is a great psychiatrist; I couldn't recommend him more. He always made me feel heard, took my specific needs very seriously and answered my questions in as much depth as I wanted(and I always had a lot of questions). He was always on time, if not early, and was not in a rush to end the appointment, taking the time necessary to ensure each of his patients felt they understood and were happy with their treatment plan. Most importantly, it is very clear that he cares very much about each of his patients.

Profile

Having spent 4 amazing years working in a Tertiary level Mood and Anxiety Program in Ottawa, Canada, where I have learnt so much and more importantly have been moved by the warmth, humility and reilience of Canadians, I have bittersweet emotions of leaving Canada but moving back to the UK which was my home for about 20 years before that. I am hoping to use this additional experience during my future NHS and private Consultant Psychiatrist work in Adult ADHD and Mood disorders.
